Over the last 5 years, FMC operations in the Philippines have grown by taking on a global and regional focus for Agricultural Solutions, Information Technology, Finance and Customer Service. This growth has provided opportunities for women to take on leadership roles at the site.
In addition to the site leadership team responsibilities owned by Hazel Norella and Analee Quiapo, the local Safety team is led by Marina Martinez and the site Social team is led by Martha Isabel Mangali. These women make a significant impact by ensuring the site supports the diverse views that employees bring to their roles. These women are key components in helping the Manila site take a leadership position in employee and community engagement.
To recognize the contribution women make to the success of FMC and to celebrate International Women’s Day, the Manila site launched the Manila Women’s Initiative Network (Manila WIN). This event was attended by over 30 individuals including Bethwyn Todd, FMC Asia President.
The Manila WIN has an active work plan to continue their contribution to developing women and is another example of how Diversity & Inclusion is practiced at FMC.
