In December, FMC Corporation’s 2015 Sustainability Report, Our Formula for Progress, was an award winner at the 48th Annual Pepperpot and Achievement gala. The Philadelphia chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) hosts the Pepperpot Awards each year to honor the “best of the best” public relations campaigns from the Greater Philadelphia region. The Pepperpot Awards have over thirty awards’ categories for public relations that include special events, social media, public service, op-eds, and annual reports. FMC’s 2015 Sustainability Report was a winner in the Special-Purpose Publications category.
The PRSA Pepperpot Awards are considered staple in the Greater Philadelphia area and one of the longest standing award programs for public relations in the US. Each December, they recognize “best-in-class” public relations professionals, campaigns, and tactics from the past year. The Pepperpot Awards were originally named by Bill Parker, who was the then president of the Philadelphia PRSA chapter and head of Campbell Soup’s communications department. The awards were meant to be “a play on the famous ‘catch-all’ Philadelphia soup to represent the effort and variety of PR professionals put into their campaigns.” To find out more information about PRSA’s Pepperpot Awards, please click here.
